SaVaughn Irons is a dedicated, enthusiastic, vibrant, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented City and Community Planner with experience in the public sector for regional planning and the private sector for three years. Her expertise includes research, comprehensive planning, implementation of planning, zoning, land use practices and community outreach. She has worked on comprehensive plans for counties in the Northwest Georgia Region such as Gilmer County and Chattooga County as well as provided community outreach, community engagement and the development and designing of community snapshots. SaVaughn also currently serves as Planning Commissioner for the City of Kennesaw’s Planning Commission Board.
In her role as Planner I, SaVaughn assists with Comprehensive planning for the City of College Park and Dekalb County, planning and zoning functions for Clayton County and the Unified Development Code for the City of Stockbridge. SaVaughn also assists with RFP’s, Zoning Ordinance re-writes, Transportation projects, and the development of presentations for Community Outreach and Community Engagement for Comprehensive Planning community events.
