Rachel Staley brings a broad range of expertise to The Collaborative Firm (TCF) that encompasses city and regional planning, historic and heritage preservation, and transportation planning. Prior to joining the Firm, Rachel gained invaluable transportation planning experience at the City of Atlanta in the Department of Public Works where she worked with the Office of Transportation while attending graduate school at Georgia Tech. She also conducted data analysis and research, and completed report writing through an Applied research paper on how Main Street America Affects Different Demographic and Socioeconomic Groups.
As a Transportation Planner for TCF, Rachel assists in the operations and planning efforts specializing in transportation planning, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping, comprehensive planning, and redevelopment plans. She has contributed to several comprehensive and transportation planning projects and studies for several governmental clients, including Douglas County, Henry County, and the cities of Fairburn and Stonecrest, Georgia.
