Michelle Alexander has over 20 years of experience in master planning, zoning, comprehensive planning, housing, and transportation studies. Her zoning expertise includes complete re-writes for cities and counties, as well as preparation of Unified Development Codes and historic district standards.
As Principal Planner, Michelle provides executive level leadership over the firm’s planning practice. She carries responsibility for QA/QC and the delivery of designated planning projects and embedded staffing efforts, managing the land use and transportation planning staff and coordinating with MarCom team on public involvement support of planning projects. Michelle serves as a senior project manager over master plans, corridor studies, comprehensive and strategic plans, zoning ordinance re-writes and organizational development projects. She also leads several planning projects, including Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) 285 Express Lanes, Gwinnett Bus Rapid Transit, Stonecrest Zoning Ordinance, Fairburn Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) and College Park Professional Planning Services. She has also led planning for College Park Six West (Airport City).
