SENIOR CONSULTANT ENGINEER
George Barnes serves as Senior Consulting Engineer with The Collaborative Firm. He is a highly respected industry expert with over 48 years in water/wastewater utility management experience that includes implementing large, complex municipal environmental capital improvement programs. George also has expertise in combined sewer overflow and sanitary sewer overflow control programs, and wet weather policy issues.
George provides technical services for the Firm in the development of the strategic master plans, which are comprehensive guides to achieve a high quality of service and sustainability. He also provides engineering services to support evaluation efforts in identifying and evaluating alternatives for new preliminary treatment facility versus modification of existing preliminary treatment facility. George supports field inventory activities associated with stormwater infrastructure, detention facilities and other related stormwater control facilities. George has led and contributed his expertise to several projects including, Clayton County Water Authority On Demand Services Contract, City of Atlanta Architectural, Engineering and Design Services Standby Contract, and DeKalb County Snapfinger and Pole Bridge Wastewater Treatment Plant.
