COMMUNICATIONS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
Geilia Taylor has 15+ years of experience in management, marketing, and public relations serving in various roles that require establishing and strengthening effective communications with community leaders, decision makers and key stakeholders. She specializes in the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies to maximize community engagement and result in positive outcomes for clients.
In her role as Communications and Community Engagement Manager, Geilia creates and executes community engagement strategies designed to effectively inform, educate, and engage the public, business community, internal and external stakeholders, and other groups. She places emphasis on establishing robust relationships with clients, governments, and organizations to ensure effective communication occurs within the community. Geilia leads several Community Engagement projects for the Firm, including Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) 285/20, MARTA South DeKalb Hub, Douglas County Comprehensive Transportation Plan and Clayton County SPLOST. She previously managed Community Engagement efforts for College Park Six West (Airport City) DeKalb SPLOST, and MARTA’s South Fulton Parkway Bus Rapid Transit Implementation Study.
