PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Danielle Cherry-Hoover is a seasoned communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in engaging target audiences through clear and effective messaging that drives awareness, excitement, and project success. An executive leader, she is skilled in governmental/community affairs, designing and implementing communications plans, strategies and budgets that result in stakeholder buy-in built on trust and support. Danielle has managed several Community Engagement projects for the Firm including, DeKalb County Transit Master Plan as well as the county’s first Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). Other projects include Clayton County SPLOST, Cobb County’s Cobb Forward, Stonecrest Comprehensive Transit Plan, and grand opening activities for the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) Gateway Center Arena @ College Park.
Danielle currently leads Douglas County’s Connect Douglas project, and implements engaging marketing and communication tactics to promote the county’s transit service throughout the region. She thoughtfully collaborates with residents, community leaders, and government officials for the purpose of educating and informing them about Connect Douglas.
